All bookings and enquiries are directed to June Kain who will will promptly attend to you telephone or email enquiries between the hours of 9.00 am and 9.00 pm daily.

Once your stay has been confirmed, June will contact your to establish your preferred breakfast supplies and to arrange entry into the accommodation.

Hosts

Amble In Self Contained Accommodation was established by June and John Kain in January 2002.

June has been working in the tourism industry for many years and recognises the need for comfortable self catering accommodation.

John has worked in the rural and trucking industry for many years and attends to the gardens and maintenance of the three properties

The Properties

All three properties have been developed to provide a high level of comfortable, convenient and self catering accommodation whilst respecting the privacy of guests.

Each property provides its own special and unique experience:

Garden Retreat B & B a luxurious apartment with private entrances is located in a quiet country area on the outskirts of Mount Gambier, just 5 minutes from the centre of Mount Gambier. A large garden, the comfort and serenity are features. As the property is a component of the farming enterprise, at times, livestock are hand fed on the property adding a rural touch.

Amble In Bungalow a lovely 1920's solid stone cottage is located in central Mount Gambier, within walking distance of Woolworths Supermarket Shopping Centre, several restaurants and eating outlets. The outdoor area/undercover garage provides a private area and security with its remote controlled roller door.

Amble In Cottage a renovated early 1900's solid stone cottage, just 20 minutes drive south of Mount Gambier, 5 minutes drive from Nelson provides a secluded experience in a rural environment. Located on 150 acre farm which fronts the Glenelg River, walking is a popular past time and guests enjoy bird watching and viewing wildlife which can often be seen on the property.
